Mrs. Towne's Bio

My name is Tracy Towne and I teach 4th grade at Meadowbrook. This is my fifteenth year teaching, my sixth year here in College Place.

I grew up in Kent, Washington. I graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg where I earned my BA, majoring in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I then received my Masters Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University.

I taught in the Kent School District for nine years. I have taught quite a range of students; from special education resource room and life skills to regular education third through fifth grades.

My family decided we wanted to move to the east side of the state and raise our son in a nice, small town. We found the Walla Walla/College Place area and loved it! This is our sixth year here. We enjoy all the fun activities the community has to offer. You can usually find us hiking around in the hills, walking or biking on the trails, or just playing at one of the many parks.
